In order to help decrease the spread of COVID-19, City of Westland Administrative Offices are closed to the public through May 31, 2020. Please review our online services and department contact emails and phone numbers located on our website.  City staff will still be responding to emails and voicemails as quickly as possible.  There are also two drop boxes located at City Hall for bill payments (no cash please) and document drop offs that will be checked daily.  Thank you for your patience in this unprecedented challenging time and please stay healthy.

The Halloween Forest Fun Hike will be held on Saturday, October 12 at the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center in Westland. Register for one start time every half hour (5:30 PM, 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM).

This outdoor hike, featuring silly nature characters is recommended for children four and older. The hike lasts about 45 minutes and is followed by an indoor live animal show.

Feel free to wear costumes but please remember this is an indoor and outdoor event. The hike will be moved indoors if there is heavy rain expected.

The cost is $6.00 per child and $2.00 per adult.

Nankin Mills Interpretive Center is located at 33175 Ann Arbor trail in Westland.

Pre-registration is required by calling (734) 261-1990 as this program will fill up.
