Beaumont Hospital - Wayne, located at 33155 Annapolis, Wayne is temporarily closed to all patients except coronavirus victims.  This includes the emergency room.

In order to help decrease the spread of COVID-19, City of Westland Administrative Offices are closed to the public through April 13, 2020. Please review our online services and department contact emails and phone numbers located on our website.  City staff will still be responding to emails and voicemails as quickly as possible.  There are also two drop boxes located at City Hall for bill payments (no cash please) and document drop offs that will be checked daily.  Thank you for your patience in this unprecedented challenging time and please stay healthy.

City Infrastructure Improvements - MAP

As directed by Mayor Wild and approved by City Council, DPS and its contractors have been working diligently since April 2019 on the second phase of the 5 year CIP. You have already noticed that infrastructure improvement projects are being completed throughout the city and will continue thru November 2019. Twenty two projects are either completed, under construction or in the planning phase to be completed by June 30, 2020. These projects as described below will improve the various components of the city’s infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, sidewalks, water mains and sewers.
