Beaumont Hospital - Wayne, located at 33155 Annapolis, Wayne is temporarily closed to all patients except coronavirus victims. This includes the emergency room.
In order to help decrease the spread of COVID-19, City of Westland Administrative Offices are closed to the public through April 13, 2020. Please review our online services and department contact emails and phone numbers located on our website. City staff will still be responding to emails and voicemails as quickly as possible. There are also two drop boxes located at City Hall for bill payments (no cash please) and document drop offs that will be checked daily. Thank you for your patience in this unprecedented challenging time and please stay healthy.
Effective July 1, 2018 there will be no cost for special pick-ups of bulk items for Westland residents. This is a result of feedback from residents, cost savings from curbside recycling and the City Council working with the Mayor William R. Wild to lower sanitation costs.
Excess garbage, bulk and special pick up items such appliances, carpet, padding and furniture. For a more complete list of Special Pick Up items please click here. Residents are limited to eight extra bags or three bulk items per week. Residents still have a fee charged for extra trash bins and for move out/clean-up requests.
Special Pick Up requests must be made at least 2business days prior to the resident's normal trash collection day. A Special Pick up can be scheduled by selecting the link below for Special Pickups and requesting a move out/clean up quote.
