The City of Westland has launched new technology that allows for tracking and accountability during our snow emergency response. Each truck is equipped with a GPS unit that communicates every 7 seconds with city servers so we can see in real-time where trucks have been.
In an effort to promote transparency and efficiency, we have made this information available on cityofwestland.com and our Westland Click and Fix App. We are asking you to try it out and tell us what you think! Westland is constantly looking for innovative ways to improve services for its residents and your feedback is a crucial part of the city’s progress.
