Community Policing - Community Policing has been adopted by the department with a special emphasis on the Nor-Wayne area of the City where three Community Policing Officers (CPOs) are assigned. CPOs are problem solvers who are encouraged to be actively involved in local programs, to build relationships with neighborhood residents and businesses, and to identify and solve problems in their area of duty.
