HOME CHORE PROGRAM - This program is designed to help keep older adults in their own homes by providing outdoor services such as lawn mowing in the summer, leaf raking in the fall, and snow removal in the winter.

The Home Chore Program is reserved for persons ages 65 and up who are both physically incapable of performing these chores, and not in the position to pay for them financially.

TELECARE REASSURANCE - Calls are made to check on lonely, sick and shut-in older adults on a regular basis.

DAILY CONGREGATE MEALS - Lunches served daily at 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday in Friendship Center. Gives older adults a great opportunity to socialize with peers and enjoy a nutritious meal. Call (722-7632) 24 hours in advance and before 11 a.m. to make or cancel reservations.

TRAVEL PROGRAMS - Trips are planned by the department using a professional tour company. Speakers also give presentations and tour trips at monthly programs.
