The Marijuana Business Review Board (MBRB) is governed by a three-member board. One member is appointed by the Mayor and the other two are appointed by the City Council. The MBRB is responsible for the review of all marijuana license application score appeals and the review of all marijuana businesses and has the ability to suspend, revoke, or place in non-renewal status any business it finds to be in violation of the City's marijuana ordinance or other related law.
The Marijuana Business License Selection Committee will provide all necessary information for appealing the application score when the score is provided. The deadline to file an appeal shall be at least ten business days from the date the scoring notice was sent. Failure to file a timely appeal waives the right to an appeal.
Marijuana business license renewals start with reviewing the Marijuana Business License Renewal Consideration Policy (PDF) and submitting a completed Marijuana Business License Renewal Application (PDF).
