Virtual Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting
The Zoning Board of Appeals may grant an appeal and modify the zoning ordinance based on practical difficulties or unnecessary hardships in carrying out the regulations of the ordinance.

All meetings are open to the public and citizens will have a reasonable opportunity to be heard.

Pursuant to the provisions of Act No. 228 Public Acts of 2020 passed by the State of Michigan government and the issuance of Emergency Order under MCL 333.2253 , notice is hereby given that the City of Westland Zoning Board of Appeals will hold an electronic public session on January 20, 2021 beginning at 5:00 PM.

Instructions for Public Comments:
Electronic Attendees will be able to use the "Raise Hand" function during the Citizen's Comments sections of the meeting.  The Commission Chairperson will recognize the resident and will be allowed to speak when called upon for up to 3 minutes.
Telephone Attendees will be placed in a queue by pressing *9 and will be identified and called upon by the last four digits of their telephone number.  In order to talk, the Attendee must press *6 to un-mute their telephone.
Normal public comment protocols will be followed.
