Virtual City Council Meeting
The legislative body of Westland is the City Council. The City Council is charged with a number of tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Approval of the yearly City budget
- Authorize the borrowing of funds through bonds
- Approval of City expenditures
- Enacting City ordinances
- Modifying the City Charter
All meetings are open to the public and rules of the Council provide citizens a reasonable opportunity to be heard.
In order to insure reasonable accessibility, individuals with disabilities or who require special accommodations, auxiliary aids or services to attend or participate in this program should contact (734) 467-3263 during normal business hours Monday through Friday. At least 3 days advanced notice is required for most accommodations. Interpreters can take longer to schedule based on availability.

Instructions for Public Comments:
