Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration

Join us as we celebrate and remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and the message he preached to the world.  The City will start with a remembrance walk to commemorate his life and legacy followed by our annual ceremony to express how Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had inspired us, what his message means to us, and to help inspire people to continue with his message and help make the world a more inclusive and righteous place for us and our children to live in. The Freedom Walk (Weather Permitting) will start at Westland City Hall at 9:00 am, followed by a Ceremony at 10:00 am in the Grand Ballroom.
