Friendship Center

About

The Friendship Center is a focal point for our senior population seeking information and referral to programs offered through the Center and to other organizations specializing in older adult services. The Center not only provides recreational and social activities but provides many programs and services aimed to aid our residents who are 50 years and older to successfully live the happiest, healthiest, most fulfilling life possible. Visitors are welcome.

Amenities

The 17,000 square feet Friendship Center is one of Michigan's premier facilities, offering the finest in equipment and amenities. The Center offers space and equipment that provide:

Computer Lab

The computer lab features 10 state of the art computers with high speed Internet access that is available to all members for personal or educational purposes.  

Educational programs and instructor led classes are offered periodically through our partnerships with various organizations.

Fitness Center

Our fitness room includes a variety of different machines to ensure a complete workout, and is open late two nights a week so those working have access. The center/exercise room is open during normal business hours.

The exercise room is closed at 3:00 pm on days we have big events.

Outdoor Fitness Area

If it's the outdoors you enjoy, there is a paved walking track through the park behind the center 1/6th of a mile long; for those of you who likElderly Man Prepares to Hit the Cue Ball in a Game of Poole to move but don't like "exercise" you can always Line Dance.

Pool Room & Social Room

Our pool & social room is a great place to spend time building relationships with other older adults or to create new acquaintanceships.  Boasting of multiple full size tables, it is a great place for a friendly game of pool or billiards.
