Sanitation Authority

About

The Central Wayne County Sanitation Authority (CWCSA) is an organization of local governments that provide a number of functions to help save costs for their communities. The CWCSA manages the Monofill, located in Flat Rock, and other operations related to the disposal of solid waste in the landfills used by these communities, including contract negotiations for landfill fees. The Monofill is the location where the ashes are stored from when the CWCSA managed a trash incinerator and the CWCSA is required to continue managing this property.  The trash incinerator is no longer in service.
