The unit's primary responsibility is the investigation and prosecution of narcotics cases including interviews, interrogations, drug evidence processing, and case preparation of in-custody felony drug prisoners.

BenzodiazepinesThe most common are Alprazolam (Xanax), Valium, Klonopin, and Ativan. These pills are commonly prescribed for anxiety and related disorders. They are considered to be sedatives and if abused, the user typically feels like they are melting into their surroundings, or floating, etc. Benzos are not stimulants.
