Election Commission

About

The Election Commission shall provide all necessary voting booths, equipment and supplies for the conduct of all elections. The Commission shall have charge of all activities and duties required of it by statute and this Charter relating to the conduct of elections in the City. In any case where election procedure is in doubt, the Commission shall prescribe the procedure to be followed.

 The Election Commission shall, before each election, appoint for each election precinct of the City a board of such number of inspectors of election as the Commission may determine. They shall receive such compensation as shall be fixed by the Council.
